Sobre a oportunidade
We are looking for a hands-on Lead Cloud Engineer to guide discovery, define target-state architecture, and lead lift-and-shift migrations from legacy or locally hosted applications to AWS and Kubernetes-based platforms. You will shape designs, plans, and execution with engineering and architecture peers. Responsibilities Lead application and infrastructure discovery to assess legacy and third-party hosted workloads Define target-state architecture for AWS, including integration needs and landing zone requirements Determine Kubernetes and EKS requirements and outline high-level platform configurations Run workshops with clients and solution and security architects to align on approach Create migration plans and test plans that support largely lift-and-shift delivery Oversee migration execution and support engineering teams with technical direction and unblockers Build containerization approaches and guide creation of container-ready application versions Design CI/CD pipelines to enable repeatable build, test, and deployment processes Provision and validate infrastructure through Terraform to meet the agreed target state Act as a hands-on SME for cloud and DevOps tasks when deeper expertise is required Requirements 5+ years of cloud development experience with AWS and migration programs 1+ years of leadership experience guiding architecture decisions and supporting engineers Strong discovery and workshop facilitation skills for requirements gathering and alignment Strong infrastructure as code skills with Terraform for provisioning and change management Strong configuration management skills with Ansible for repeatable environments Strong containerization skills for packaging applications and supporting Kubernetes platforms Strong DevOps skills for CI/CD pipeline design and delivery workflows Strong communication skills to explain approach and trade-offs to clients and internal teams Advanced English proficiency (C1, Advanced) for workshops and technical documentation Nice to have Python scripting skills for automation and tooling We offer International projects with top brands Work with global teams of highly skilled, diverse peers Healthcare benefits Employee financial programs Paid time off and sick leave Upskilling, reskilling and certification courses Unlimited access to the LinkedIn Learning library and 22,000+ courses Global career opportunities Volunteer and community involvement opportunities EPAM Employee Groups Award-winning culture recognized by Glassdoor, Newsweek and LinkedIn EPAM is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
