About the role We are looking for a Full Stack Tech Lead to guide a squad and build backend services with Java and Spring Boot, supported by an Angular frontend. The mandatory requirements are 6+ years of experience with Java, Spring Boot, and Angular, Kafka, Domain-Driven Design, proven tech lead experience, and an upper-intermediate English level. Experience with AWS or Azure and spec-driven, AI-assisted development is a plus. Must haves Leadership Experience: Proven experience as a Tech Lead or Squad Lead, with a track record of motivating teams and mentoring junior developers. Core Stack: Advanced proficiency in Java (Spring Boot) and a solid working knowledge of Angular, with at least 6 years of experience. Streaming & Messaging: Hands-on experience with Kafka. Design Fundamentals: A strong grasp of Object-Oriented Analysis and Design (OOA/OOD), software design patterns, and architectural pattern awareness. Domain-Driven Design: Deep understanding and practical experience with strong domain bounded contexts. API Knowledge: Deep experience building and consuming RESTful services with a clear understanding of standard API protocols. Database Skills: Experience working with relational databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle) and JPA/Hibernate. The "Backend-Heavy" Mindset: A passion for server-side logic, performance, and architecture, coupled with good engineering practices. Upper-intermediate English level.Nice to haves Experience with Litmus, Email on Acid, or equivalent rendering test tools Familiarity with AMPScript, SQL, or other scripting/query languages used in campaign platforms Experience with additional ESPs such as Adobe Campaign, Braze, Iterable, or Marketo Knowledge of dynamic content and conditional content logic within campaign platforms Exposure to multi-channel or cross-channel campaign orchestration (email + SMS, push, or direct mail) Experience using project/workflow management tools such as Workfront or Jira Nice to haves Highly desirable: Experience working with spec-driven development or related (AI-Driven Software Development Life Cycle). Domain Experience: Previous experience in the Loyalty or Fintech sectors. Cloud & Infra: Experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) and containerization (Docker). DevOps: Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI). Refactoring: Experience refactoring legacy structures into modern, domain-driven architectures.
