Google Cloud Technical Lead/Lead Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Google Cloud Technical Lead/Lead Engineer to join our team and contribute to infrastructure and CI/CD development for Next-Gen Data Management. In this role, you will focus on GCP infrastructure development, building a Data Platform on GCP, and driving product development initiatives. Responsibilities Design, build, and maintain highly available production systems Integrate solutions with other applications and platforms outside the framework Design and implement build, deployment, and configuration management systems Analyze, organize, and provide in-depth code reviews to improve applications dynamically and ensure the timely completion of projects Perform script updates due to changes in requirements or implementations Troubleshoot production issues and coordinate with the development team to streamline code deployment Optimize system performance, availability and scalability Collaborate with team members to improve developed tools, systems and procedures, and data security Brainstorm new ideas and ways to improve development delivery Write the project documentation and conduct knowledge transfers Requirements 5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure engineering or a related field At least 1 year of relevant leadership experience Expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure as code Background in designing and maintaining highly available production systems Skills in building CI/CD pipelines, deployment, and configuration management systems Competency in troubleshooting production issues and optimizing system performance, availability, and scalability Understanding of integrating solutions across multiple applications and platforms Capability to perform in-depth code reviews and mentor team members Familiarity with writing technical documentation and conducting knowledge transfer sessions Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (B2+ level) We offer International projects with top brands Work with global teams of highly skilled, diverse peers Healthcare benefits Employee financial programs Paid time off and sick leave Upskilling, reskilling and certification courses Unlimited access to the LinkedIn Learning library and 22,000+ courses Global career opportunities Volunteer and community involvement opportunities EPAM Employee Groups Award-winning culture recognized by Glassdoor, Newsweek and LinkedIn EPAM is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
