Senior DevOps Engineer (AWS) with AI Tooling

We are strengthening our DevOps practice and need a Senior DevOps Engineer to deliver reliable, scalable infrastructure on AWS using modern automation methods. You will improve IaC and CI/CD, engage in architecture decisions, and handle complex operational troubleshooting while keeping documentation current. Apply to work with a team that values craftsmanship, learning, and resilient systems Responsibilities Build and sustain infrastructure systems that are scalable and reliable for business and technical needs Partner with cross-functional teams to complete deliverables on schedule and to agreed quality levels Shape infrastructure direction by contributing ideas and feedback in architecture discussions Perform peer reviews of scripts and configurations and provide useful guidance to keep practices reliable Resolve complex technical incidents and deployment issues across the operations lifecycle Guide junior engineers by sharing expertise that improves their technical growth Contribute to planning by helping refine scope and delivering accurate time estimates Monitor technology trends and adopt worthwhile approaches in everyday engineering work Create and maintain documentation for operational workflows and key technical decisions to support stability Work with stakeholders to set clear objectives and ensure results match expectations Requirements At least 3 years of relevant professional experience in an applicable DevOps capacity Practical knowledge of AI tools and core principles used to enhance infrastructure and automation development Hands-on work in Amazon Web Services cloud environments Advanced skills in Python and Bash for scripting, automation, and operational efficiency Strong background in Linux Administration to manage and sustain server environments Experience with Jenkins, Atlassian Bamboo, or GitLab CI for CI/CD automation of build and release processes Working knowledge of Oracle RDBMS for maintaining relational database infrastructure Familiarity with MySQL for designing, structuring, and accessing relational data systems Background in Windows Administration for managing and sustaining Windows-based servers Experience using Terraform or AWS CloudFormation to provision cloud resources as code Proficiency with Ansible, Chef, Puppet, or SaltStack to automate configuration management Hands-on experience with Kubernetes for orchestration and management of containerized deployments Confident English communication at B2 level or higher We offer International projects with top brands Work with global teams of highly skilled, diverse peers Healthcare benefits Employee financial programs Paid time off and sick leave Upskilling, reskilling and certification courses Unlimited access to the LinkedIn Learning library and 22,000+ courses Global career opportunities Volunteer and community involvement opportunities EPAM Employee Groups Award-winning culture recognized by Glassdoor, Newsweek and LinkedIn EPAM is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
